Good people hard times, this area feels like a community. Very real people in a very real place and much a part of Vancouver life.

Hezza said...: I love the downtown eastside. I lived there for two years as an urban missionary and liked to grab a coffee and muffin (only $2!) from the radio station cafe and check my email. I often ran into my neighbours there - one of whom is pictured here with his back to us, with black hair. Thanks for catching the vibe of the DTES.; 2:06 p.m.
